The students of All Saints Catholic School from both campuses (St. Mary campus and St. John campus) celebrate the weekly school Mass jointly on special occasions, such as Ash Wednesday, providing an opportunity for “prayer partners” to come together.
Our prayer partner program pairs older students with younger students to promote peer mentoring. For example, 8th graders are paired with Kindergartners. The students exchange special projects and cards throughout the year, sit together during joint school Masses, and spend time together when visiting each other's campuses (e.g., book fair week, field day, etc.). Prayer partners are encouraged to pray for each other, sharing personal intentions or struggles. Prayer partners build special bonds. It is common to see Kindergarten prayer partners attend the 8th grade graduation. It is always so nice to see how excited the prayer partners are when they have the opportunity to see each other.
