All Saints Robotics had a strong showing at the John Bapst Winter Tournament on January 6, competing against 24 high school and 8 middle school teams. Three of our four teams made it into the quarterfinals, and one team moved into the semi-finals (one win away from a State Tournament qualification).
According to Coach Casey Murphy, "Statewide, our teams rank in the top 50% for all Maine middle school skills scores, a criteria that involves both autonomous programming and driver competition."
The next competition is at John Bapst High School on February 3rd. There, we hope to qualify for the State Tournament in South Portland, March 8 and 9. If All Saints wins a trophy at the State Championship, we are headed to the World Tournament in Dallas, TX in late April.
