Library Educational Technician, Grades PK - 8
All Saints Catholic School in Bangor, Maine is seeking a library Educational Technician III for 12 hours per week during the school year. This is a part-time position and does not include a benefits package. The Ed. Tech. will provide library activities to students in grades PK to grade 8 and maintain library spaces at two campuses.
The Library Educational Technician will be proficient in:
Reading aloud to students in an engaging manner. Helping students select and return books each week.
Be able to keep the students on task and act appropriately during library time.
Maintain the library database, including checking books in and out of the library, adding new books to the database, updating the database program as updates become available, and backing up the database regularly.
Scheduling, setting up, overseeing, and running the yearly book fair at each campus.
Work requirements and tasks of the library:
Shelving and organizing books, decorating the library, and displaying books appropriate for each season.
Research appropriate books for read-aloud time and select and purchase new books in the library.
Non-class time is spent organizing books, reshelving returned books, researching new books to bring into the library and/or read to students, decorating the library, displaying different books seasonally, entering new and donated books into the database, maintaining, updating, and backing up the database.
Training for the new Library Educational Technician is available.

Full time PK - 8 Music Teacher STATUS: Exempt
Music Teacher, Grades PK-Grade 8 Full-Time, school year (180 days) All Saints Catholic School located in Bangor, Maine, an NEASC accredited institution, seeks a highly motivated individual to teach classroom music in a Catholic school setting. Music teacher will implement methods such as Orff or Kodály and vocal music. In coordination with the parish music director, the candidate will design a program of classroom instruction that supports school liturgies and seasonal music presentations. Extended Day Staff
All Saints Catholic School's Extended Day Child Care program is looking for responsible, reliable, and energetic individuals to join our after-school staff.
Our program runs daily between 2:15 and 5:30. Staff members are responsible for working with students in grades PK to middle school, assisting with homework assignments, planning fun crafts and activities, and supervising outdoor activities and play time.
Candidates will be responsible for completing the Protecting God's Children course. Maine CHRC (Criminal History Records Check) and fingerprinting are required. This is an excellent opportunity for college students majoring in Education to gain practical work experience with young children! Please send resume and 3 current references from supervisors to:
